You may be asking what exactly is a DJ Factory? A DJ Factory is a company that employees over 10 DJ’s and Emcee’s. The reason I would be aware on booking them is because they have many options and based on your budget and date of event you may be getting their lowest experienced and newest rookie DJ.
The best DJ’s book up fast and cost the most amount of money, that may be common knowledge but when they are unavailable you get the leftovers. I’m not saying these DJ’s can’t be really good or even great but I am saying just be careful on who exactly will be providing the entertainment on your wedding day.
You have to be diligent in making sure you know exactly who your DJ is going to be. The last thing you want is getting comfortable with your DJ of choice and then three weeks before your wedding the DJ Factory gets a better offer and pulls a switch. Now your stuck with the newest guy on the roster. You don’t need that stress on the happiest day of your life, right?
The best thing to do is research the DJ who best fits your needs and then make the call to see if they are available. It’s also a good idea to make sure you note the DJ you decided on within your contract. By taking the necessary steps early in the process you can eliminate any wrong doing and stress that may come your way.
In all honesty DJ Factories make money by doing many Weddings, many events, many corporate functions all on the same days and at the same time, so they need more employees and man power. They are making a lot of money and that’s exactly what a business should do but I believe when booking with them you become a number and dollar amount. They can’t and will not cater to you the same way a small operation will.
